In July, I moved to New York for a couple of months to see if I can make it here. If Frank Sinatra is right, then I'll soon be able to make it anywhere.
In August, I'll go back to San Diego. I got a scholarship at a local community college for an intensive 5 month program to learn how to be an electrician. With this course, I hope to be better able to rebuild houses and move up the heirarchy at IATSE to get better paying gigs.
In December, I'm off to Japan to see about buying a house so I can fix it up and rent it out with the help of my high school buddy and a Brazillian Japanophile ex-coworker and friend
In January, I'm off Shenzhen to work at a factory to learn robotics so I can help a Chinese friend expand his company to the American market
I am creating an Arduino-based DIY kit that I am calling "Pomoduino" that includes a circuit board and set of components that you can solder and then program. The goal is to have something I can use to build a class that teaches soldering, coding, and project management to support my nomadic lifestyle.
I was recently burned by PHP; a security vulnerability in outdated Wordpress code left a vulnerability that a hacker used to ruin 54 websites I built so I moved my server and I am learning some new frameworks so I can rebuild them without a backend
A few years ago, I framed my projects as part of a personal incubator called 2RE Factory to help me conceptualize and share all the weird and wonderful things I do. I am currently rebuilding the website with Bootstrap.
